iPhone 12 Pro Max came in for No Service/Baseband issue.
There's no shorts
But I see the housing inside is all beat up. You can see where the glass Breaker Tool was used.
After probing around, I found PP_1V2_LDO1 was shorted
Injected voltage and found heat coming from under this where U_SDR_E is
Pulled the shield and found the SDR chip was cracked. You can see the crack going between the M in QualcoMm ðŸ«
Going to replace and see if I can fix it 🤌
