In case you didn't know, iPhone SE 2020 has 2 common faults, either No Touch and/or 3 Min restart due to board issue. I made 2 youtube videos about this topic already
1. Original video showing 1 long jumper to solve 3min restart:
2. No Touch + 3 Min Restart - 2 long jumpers: https://youtu.be/kaq0nz1VDLE
In essence, there are 3 traces (1 touch and 2 mic1 data lines) that disconnect somewhere under the SIM slot. Up until now, I would only run the jumper for the issue that is present.
But after getting a few warranties, where I fixed touch, then a few weeks later, it comes back due to 3 min restart or vice versa, I've now decided I will do all 3 jumpers.
This will ensure no more warranty jobs!
BUT, I have also updated my method.
Here is the quickest & easiest way I've found to run the 3 jumpers.
1. Touch - SPI_AP_TO_TOUCH_CS_CONN_L - This jumper will remain the same. Gotta scratch out the trace from between the BB and SIM Slot and jump to the FPC. As shown in my...
If you have a Seek Thermal Cam, you're missing out if you don't have a VCC Seek Stand: https://www.vccboardrepairs.com/buy-seek-stand
Injured Gadgets just got these back in stock, so get them while you can!
It can take us a while to build these out sometimes, so they're sometimes out of stock for a while, but we're working towards always having inventory ready to build more as they sell out.
This stand makes using a thermal cam so easy. So much better than any other thermal solution on the market.
It allows you to get real close up (using my Macro Lens), and easily find where the short is coming from.
Plus it's hard free, so you can have your hands free to try to boot the device from DCPS, while having an image that is in focus & not moving around.
You can even record a video through the app, while you inject voltage into the short, so you can go back & see exactly which component was it that was heating up.
Save yourself lots of time by getting a Seek Cam, Stand & Macro Lens! ...
Anyone who is doing game console repairs, knows how many screws you need to remove to access the motherboard.
Especially the PS5, with the 5,000 screws or so.
If you don't already have an electric screwdriver, GET ONE ASAP.

🌟Extended T9 Bit: https://amzn.to/3c4YJac
It's rechargeable through micro USB and allows you to easily swap the tips out. You can also fold it to be straight or L shape.

If you’ve ever wondered what it looks like to grill a motherboard like a grilled cheese, this is the one to watch 😂
PRG reached out and asked me to tackle a pretty wild board that wouldn’t charge and kept bootlooping. So I did what I do best—threw it on the heat plate, did some micro soldering magic, and brought it back to life 🙌

There's a pretty big phone repair channel who I did a collab with, that will be publishing a video we did for an iPhone 15 Pro that was not charging & restarting every 3 minutes.
